Nutty Popcorn Treats

10 oz bag mini marshmallows
1/2 10 oz pkg vanilla milk chips (about 1 cup)
6 Tbsp margarine or butter
12 c popped popcorn
1 c salted peanuts
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 c small gumdrops, sliced

Grease 13x9" baking pan.
In a 5-qt Dutch oven over low heat, cook marshmallows, vanilla milk chips, and margarine until melted and smooth. Remove saucepan from heat; stir in popcorn, peanuts, and vanilla extract until well blended. Press mixture firmly into pan; sprinkle with gumdrops; gently press into popcorn mixture. Let stand at room temperature about 1 hour before cutting. To serve, cut lengthwise into 6 strips, then cut each strip crosswise into 6 pieces. Store in tightly covered container.
Makes 36 cookies.
