Ground Beef Roulade

1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 tsp salt
1 tsp minced parsley
1 Tbsp minced onion
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/2 c bread crumbs
1 clove garlic, minced
2 Tbsp dry vermouth
6 oz shredded mozzarella
1 15 oz can tomato sauce

Combine all ingredients except vermouth, cheese and tomato sauce. Mix lightly and press onto a 14x10" rectangle of waxed paper. Sprinkle with cheese and roll up, jelly-roll style. Place seamside down in a rectangular pan. Combine tomato sauce with vermouth and spread half of the sauce over the roll and bake 10 minutes longer. Makes 4-6 servings.
