Cranberry-Apple Cobbler

Topping (below)
2 c packed brown sugar
1 c chopped pecans, toasted
1 tsp ground cinnamon
4 large tart red apples, peeled, cored, sliced
12 oz pkg fresh cranberries, rinsed

Prepare Topping. Preheat oven to 400º.
Combine all ingredients except Topping in greased 2-quart casserole. Crumble Topping over fruit mixture. Bake 25-30 minutes or until topping is golden brown.

Topping:
1 c flour
3/4 c sugar
1/4 c butter or margarine, softened
1 egg, beaten
Combine flour and sugar in medium bowl. Cut in butter using fork or pastry blender; stir in egg.
