Chocolate Macadamia Shortbread

1 c softened butter
2/3 c icing sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 c flour
1/4 c cornstarch
2/3 c milk chocolate chips
1/2 c coarsely chopped macadamia nuts or pecans

In large bowl, with electric mixer, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. In medium bowl, mix together flour and cornstarch; stir into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Form into rounds of about 2 Tbsp, or 1 Tbsp for small; flatten to 1/2" thick. Bake in 350° oven 12-15 minutes, until lightly browned. Store in container.
Makes 18 medium or 36 smaller cookies.
