Almond Bark

3/4 c almonds, slivered or whole
16 oz semi-sweet OR white chocolate

Toast almonds in a 9x13" pan at 350º F for 5-10 minutes. Meanwhile melt chocolate in a double boiler over hot, not boiling, water, stirring until smooth. Pour chocolate over almonds, spread evenly, chill until hardened, break into pieces, store in a cool place.
Older kids like to make this to give to their teachers.
